Law Enforcement and Security

Law enforcement and security are fundamental pillars for safeguarding rights, maintaining social cohesion, and strengthening public trust in institutions. At the EPLO, we support governments and competent authorities in developing effective, transparent, and rights-based approaches to policing, crime prevention, and crisis management.

Our technical cooperation in this area includes:

  • Development of crime prevention and response strategies
  • Support cross-border cooperation for public safety and citizen protection
  • Training and capacity-building for law enforcement agencies, and administrative personnel
  • Support for institutional reform and alignment with European standards

Our projects contribute to institutional accountability, social trust, and the resilience of democratic systems, with a strong emphasis on fundamental rights protection and the effective functioning of the rule of law.
