At the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), education is not merely a pillar of our work - it is the cornerstone of our mission to strengthen legal systems and promote democratic governance worldwide. Through a dynamic blend of academic programs, professional training, and research initiatives, we cultivate the knowledge and values needed to shape the institutions of tomorrow.
Our educational philosophy is grounded in interdisciplinarity, innovation, and accessibility. We believe that legal and governance education must evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. That’s why we prepare students and professionals to lead with clarity, competence, and ethical conviction.
Education, for us, is more than instruction - it is a commitment to shaping future leaders who will uphold the rule of law and advance good governance. Through our academic arm, the European Law and Governance School (ELGS), we offer a transformative learning environment that combines rigorous scholarship with practical relevance.
Our programs are designed to serve a global community of learners, including students, professionals, and public servants. From undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to research programs, summer schools, and executive education, we equip participants with the tools to navigate complex legal landscapes and contribute meaningfully to public life.

Erasmus Charter for Higher Education
EPLO/ELGS holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), the quality framework awarded by the European Commission that certifies an institution's commitment to the values and standards of the Erasmus+ programme. The Charter affirms that ELGS operates according to the principles of academic excellence, openness, and mutual respect that underpin European higher education cooperation, placing us within a network of thousands of institutions across Europe and beyond, bound by a shared vision of learning without borders.
What We Do
Through the Erasmus+ framework and a growing network of bilateral and multilateral partnerships, our International Relations Office develops and manages cooperation agreements with universities, research centres, international organisations, and professional bodies. We coordinate student and staff mobility, support joint academic programmes and co-supervised research, apply for European and international funding opportunities, and co-organise conferences, workshops, and study visits that bring together scholars and practitioners from across disciplines and jurisdictions.
If you represent a university, a research centre, an international organisation, or a professional body and are interested in establishing a partnership or exploring a joint initiative, we would welcome the conversation.
