EPLO, through its Technical Cooperation Department and the Institute of Sustainable Water Management and Water Law, is co‑organising with the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Chios (DEYAX) and the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy a two‑day programme of activities marking World Water Day 2026. The initiative forms part of the EPLO project:

The conference brings together representatives of local authorities, DEYAX officials, academics and water‑management experts. Professor Ioannis Katsogiannis, Director of the EPLO Institute of Sustainable Water Management and Water Law, will present current approaches to water reuse in Greece.

The agenda of the conference is available to download below.

Through this co‑organised initiative, EPLO strengthens cooperation with local institutions and contributes to promoting sustainable solutions for water‑resource management, particularly in regions facing increasing water‑scarcity challenges.
