The Institute of Forensic Sciences of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is pleased to be a partner of ForenSoc ’27: International Forensic Social Sciences Conference, organized by the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences (BAFS) and co-organized by Istanbul Medipol University.
The conference will take place from 5 to 7 February 2027 at Istanbul Medipol University in Istanbul, Türkiye, in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either on-site or online.
ForenSoc ’27 is an international interdisciplinary conference dedicated to the social, legal, psychological, behavioural, linguistic, institutional and human dimensions of forensic sciences. It aims to strengthen dialogue between forensic sciences and the wider fields concerned with crime, justice, victimization, human behaviour, rights, institutions and contemporary social challenges.
The conference will bring together forensic and medical professionals, criminologists, psychologists, legal professionals, social science researchers, police and investigation professionals, communication and media researchers, child-protection and human-rights professionals, students, early-career researchers and academics.
The scientific programme will address themes including:

Participants will benefit from keynote lectures, scientific sessions, invited panels, oral and poster presentations, training activities and opportunities for interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
