The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is pleased to announce the CAP1 Final Symposium, "The Evolving Landscape of Organised Crime in Europe," taking place on 22 October 2026 in Brussels and online.
The symposium will bring together experts, practitioners and stakeholders to examine emerging threats in organised crime, exchange operational experiences and discuss future responses to increasingly complex criminal networks.
The event will present key findings, operational lessons and policy recommendations emerging from the CAP1 project (Caribbean-Albanian Poly-criminal Offshore Network Elicitation). The programme will address the evolving organised crime landscape and the European Union's response, intelligence-led policing and innovations in OSINT and Big Data, cooperation with third countries, operational experiences from the field, and opportunities for capacity building and stronger partnerships.
Through expert presentations and roundtable discussions, the symposium will provide a forum for knowledge exchange and reflection on practical approaches, lessons learned and strategic priorities for addressing organised crime in Europe.
