The European Institute for the Study of Chinese Law, Governance, and Civilization (EISCL) welcomed Professor Li Zhang, Jean Monnet Chair, Professor, and Associate Dean at the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University, China, during his visit to Greece. Professor Zhang was accompanied by a group of 13 students from Tsinghua University.
The meeting was informal in structure and designed to encourage open dialogue. A brief introduction to the EPLO and the Institute presented by Dr.phil. Dora Papadopoulou, Associate Professor of the ELGS, was followed by a short intervention by Professor Katrougalos on China–Europe relations and the strategic direction of the Institute’s work in this field. The session then opened into a wider discussion, offering students the opportunity to engage directly, ask questions, and exchange perspectives.
This visit reflects the Institute’s commitment to fostering meaningful academic exchange and strengthening mutual understanding between European and Chinese scholars and students.
