The EPLO with the Institute of Market of the 21st century (www.globalagoras. org) and the support of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Enterprises hosted and facilitated “The Structured Democratic Dialogue for the Clinical Trials in Greece” aimed at attracting and retaining clinical trials in Greece and generally at contributing in the efforts for scientific and economic growth in Greece.
The methodology of the structured Democratic Dialogue, which measures more than four decades of applications around the world, has been selected by leading international and public organizations to solve complex problems, and in particular has been implemented by many pharmaceutical companies in America in the last ten years mostly with visible results where other methods have failed. For this reason, this methodology is considered the most appropriate for solving complex problems, whose solution in any other case would seem literally impossible, achieving fair and equitable composition of different views to create consensus among the participants.
The results of the Dialogue formed the foundation for effective and efficient decision- making against perennial pathologies and weaknesses of the system, and are expected to bring new ideas and contribute to the drafting of an action plan for maintaining existing and attracting new clinical studies in our country.
