In presence of politicians, academics and many guests, the presentation of Prof Kalliopi A.Bourdara's book "Kathosiosis and Tyrannis...A political offense conducted in Byzantium. 8th-13th century" which was held on Wednesday, June 17 at the courtyard of the Byzantine Museum, Kalliopi A. Bourdara is a Professor of Law of the Athens University.
The event was organized by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the "Herodotus" editions.
Professor Emeritus of the Athens Law School and former President of the Parliament, Mr. Anna Psarouda Benaki, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Athens and director of the Institute of Historical Research, Mr. Taxiarhis Kollias and Professor the Athens Law School Ms Eleftheria Papagianni presented the author. The event was introduced and moderated by journalist mr Yannis Politis.
The author herself spoke of the many years of research behind the book that started, she said, from her postgraduate studies. There also failed to characterize growth driver foreign language departments at universities.
The event was attended, among many others, by the former Prime Minister mr Panagiotis Pikrammenos, former Ministers Ms Dora Bakoyannis, Ms Marietta Giannakou, Mr Dimitris Sioufas, and Mr Kostis Hatzidakis, also by Mr Fotis Kouvelis, Prof Theodore Fortsakis and the President of the EPLO Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis.
