Since 2010, the EPLO hosts on an annual basis the Greek-Russian Roundtable Discussions with the participation of representatives of the Hellenic and Russian Supreme Courts, at its Headquarters in Athens.
On 25 september 2012, the third Discussion took place on the topic “National Criminal Law and Supervision of the Enforcement of Sentences” with the presence of the Honorary Prosecutor of the Hellenic Supreme Court, Mr. Ioannis Tendes.
Representatives of the Russian Federation included the acting Head of the Department for Supervision over Legality of Execution of Criminal Punishment, Mr. Sergei Mikhailovich Tarakanov, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Law Enforcement to Institutions and Organs of the Criminal Justice System, Mr. Andrey Nikolaevich Gvozdilin and the acting Head of the Department for it, Business and Research Operations Supervision, Mr. Andrey Alfredovich Majorov.
The Greek representatives included the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Mr. Stavros Mantakiozidis and the Deputy Prosecutors of the Athens Court of First Instance, Mrs. Haido Zougri and Mrs. Aggeliki Triantafyllou.
