Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and President of its Board of Directors, delivered a talk at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law on September 25, 2026, addressing the future of transatlantic relations from a European perspective.
Entitled “Strengthening the Transatlantic Partnership: A View from Europe,” the event brought together some 70 participants, including students, faculty members and representatives of the wider public.
Professor Flogaitis reflected on the importance of the transatlantic relationship at a time of significant geopolitical change, offering a European perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing cooperation between Europe and the United States. The discussion provided an opportunity to consider the enduring importance of dialogue, shared values and international cooperation in responding to contemporary global challenges.
The event was jointly sponsored by the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire and the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, through the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership and Public Service.
The visit also provided an opportunity to introduce the work and activities of the EPLO to members of the university leadership and the wider community, further strengthening the Organization’s engagement with academic and institutional partners in the United States.
