An international 2-day Conference took place at the EPLO premises in Legraina, in the framework of the project THEMIS - Transformation of the Role of the Judiciary within a European Integrated Context, organized by the EPLO.
The speakers in this event included experts from Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey, including members of the judiciary and experts in the field of the enlargement of the EU.
The audience consisted mainly of lawyers, judges, professors, students and state officials.
The following issues were discussed during the seminar:
• The qualification of judges in the countries involved
• The training of judges, constitutional courts and judicial authorities in those countries
