The EPLO Launches a Summer High School Program

The EPLO launches a summer high school program with the highest standards of respective programs at other western European Universities.

The program under the name “Sounion Summer High School” will run for two weeks at the EPLO premises in Sounion (64th km Athens-Sounio Ave).

Designed for students aged 14-17 from Greece and abroad, the program aims at familiarizing them with the University environment and giving them the opportunity to practice their English language skills. Classes are taught in English on the subjects of European law, governance and communications. In addition, activities such as visits to Sounion, the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora, as well as excursions to Epidavrus, Olympia and Delphi further compliment the student experience.

The EPLO was created as an initiative of the Hellenic Republic, with 13 states, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and 62 Universities and institutes around the world in its Board of Directors, as well as a presence in more than 60 countries, has as one its main objectives the education in the fields of European public law and governance.

Over the past 19 years, the EPLO operates the “Academy of European Public Law” in Sounio. More than 500 students have graduated from the Academy, currently serving outstanding careers in academia, the public, private and international development sectors and advocacy.
