The EPLO, in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, organized a lecture on “La Réforme Administrative au Liban: Expériences et Perspectives”. The guest speaker in this event was H.E. Mr. Jean Oghassabian, Minister of Administrative Reform of Lebanon.
The welcome speech given by Prof. S. Flogaitis, Director of the EPLO, was followed by the introduction speeches given by Mr. V. Andronopoulos, Secretery General of Public Administration on behalf of Minister P. Pavlopoulos, and by Mr. H. Rokanas, Secretary General of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, a further welcome speech addressed to the honorable guest and audience was given on behalf of Prof. E. Venizelos, the former Minister and parliamentary representative of the PASOK-party who could not attend the lecture.
The audience consisted mainly of representatives from the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Greek Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, members of the Greek Judicial Authorities, as well as academics and high-rank personalities. The event was followed by a small reception.
