The European Public Law Organization, together with the Department of Public Law of the Law School of the University of Athens, organized in the framework of a series of annual lectures in memory of the late Professor John Anastopoulos, a lecture with the theme: "Reflections on a life in Politics and the Academy".
The lecture was given by the Emeritus President of the University of New York and former Congressman of the American Congress Mr. John Brademas, at the premises of the EPLO in Kolonaki, Athens on Friday 4th of May, 2007 at 19.00.
Mr. John Brademas, an American of Greek extraction, graduated from the Harvard and Oxford Universities where he got his Doctorate title from. The lecture portrayed the experience of his life in the American Congress as Congressman and also of his Academic life as President of the NYU.
It was given in English with simultaneous translation in Greek.
