During its 2026 Board of Directors Meeting, the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) further strengthened its international network through the conclusion of a series of cooperation agreements with academic and professional institutions, reaffirming its commitment to promoting education, research, good governance and the rule of law across Europe and beyond.
Among the agreements approved were new cooperation frameworks with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU) and Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University (SEU) in Georgia, the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL).
These agreements pave the way for enhanced collaboration in legal education, academic exchange, research activities, professional training and the development of joint initiatives in areas of shared interest. They also create new opportunities for institutional networking and knowledge sharing among students, academics, legal practitioners and public officials.
In particular, the partnerships with institutions in Georgia and Kazakhstan reflect EPLO's continued efforts to deepen its engagement across the wider Black Sea, Caucasus and Central Asian regions, fostering dialogue and strengthening connections between academic communities and public institutions.
Through these new partnerships, EPLO aims to encourage mobility opportunities for students and researchers, support joint academic and scientific projects, and promote cooperation in fields related to public law, governance, democratic institutions and contemporary legal challenges.
The agreement with the European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL) further broadens opportunities for collaboration between legal professionals and academic institutions, contributing to the promotion of European values, legal cooperation and professional development initiatives across borders.
The signing of these agreements forms part of EPLO's broader strategy to expand its international outreach and further develop a dynamic network of universities, professional associations, public authorities and research institutions committed to advancing knowledge and dialogue in the field of public law.
Through its growing international partnerships, EPLO continues to serve as a platform for cooperation, academic excellence and intercultural exchange, bringing together institutions and experts from different regions in pursuit of its founding mission.
