An international 2-day Conference took place at the EPLO premises in Kolonaki on 4 May 2006 and at the EPLO premises in Legraina (Sounio) on 5 May 2006.
The speakers in this event included representatives from International Tribunals and Judicial Authorities from various European countries, as well as representatives of the Higher European Courts.
The audience consisted mainly of judges and judicial authorities.
The following issues were discussed during the conference:
• The current tendencies in the control of Constitutionality
• The guarantees of the independence and impartiality of the public administration
• The efficiency of the control of the state budget and the organization of an independent judiciary.
