PROJECT TITLE: Training of Administrative Judges, Administrative Officials and Civil Servants in European Public Law

COUNTRIES: Thailand

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To strengthen the relations between EPLO and Thailand in education and training, especially in the field of European Public Law. Following a few years of mutual visits and a fruitful dialogue with the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, the EPLO aims with the current project at assisting Thailand in providing high-level education and training to its administrative judges, administrative officials and civil servants in the field of European Public Law, including Rule of Law, Good Governance and Public Administration.

ACTIVITIES:

Among the activities of the project are the conduction of lectures by European experts in the framework of the existing training program of the Institute of Public Law of the Supreme Administrative Court, the organization of a cycle of studies addressed to the Court’s staff, as well as open for public attendance, the production of short dissertations contributing to the development of a local administrative law bibliography, and the organization of study visits to Greece for selected graduates of the study program for thepurpose of conducting research, meeting with the public authorities and the academic community of Greece.
