PROJECT TITLE: The MICHAIL PSELLOS PROJECT II: Master's in European Public Law and European Integration at the University of Bahçesehir in Istanbul

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To offer training and promote the basic principles of ‘Rule of Law and Democracy’ to students and young lawyers from Balkan and Black Sea States.

ACTIVITIES:

Following the successful implementation of the “MICHAIL PSELLOS Project - Creation of a Master’s in European Public Law and European Integration”, the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the University of Baçhesehir decided to extend their cooperation by offering one more year of lectures to students and jurists from Turkey.

The European Public Law Organization contributed in the organization of the Program by;

  • Taking part in the selection of the students;
  • Drafting jointly with the University of Baçhesehir the Curriculum of the Program;
  • Sending sixteen academics who delivered lectures on selected topics;
  • Formulating with the University of Baçhesehir the program of the exams;
  • Participating in the supervision of the students’ thesis;
  • Organizing a one-month study visit to Greece for fifteen students.
