PROJECT TITLE: Institution Building JEP: Institution Building-Training of Polish Trainees to Train Public Administration Officials in Poland, both at Local Self-Government level and at Regional Bodies of Government Administration level

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To train Polish lawyers in specific issues concerning EU law essentials from the point of view of public administration. The overall objective of this project was to provide 7 lectures/ lawyers from Jagellonian University with the necessary teaching skills and methods, which they consequently passed on Polish officials of local and regional Public Authorities.
ACTIVITIES:
The 59 administrative officials from the Governor’s Office of the Malopolska Region and the Public Administrative Office of the Urzad Miasta Krakowa were trained by 7 trainers in Polish on general issues of the European Community and administrative law, in particular on pre-accession assistance and funding.
The topics on which the Project focused were: Common European Community Policies, Access to European Community Documents, Structural Funds and Relief Pre-Accession European Community Funds, European Community Law on Environmental Protection and Town and Country Planning.
