PROJECT TITLE: HERCULE - Projet Interactif pour les Droits de l'Homme de l'Etat de Droit au Maroc

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To promote Human Rights in Morocco with emphasis on the approximation between Morocco and the European Union in the field of Human Rights and democratic institutions. It aimed also at creating an effective exchange of knowledge, opinions and experiences and a discussion on the status of Human Rights and Law within the context of the European Union as well in Morocco.
ACTIVITIES:
The project consisted of eight conferences and round tables, with speakers from Europe and Morocco, on the following topics: the relationship between religion and the Law; Justice Reform; Children Rights; Women and citizenship; Democracy and information; local Democracy and good governance; cultural diversity; regional development and social rights.
