PROJECT TITLE: Framework Contract Lot 7 "Governance and Home Affairs"

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: Promotion of human rights, democratization, rule of law, administration of justice and public administration reform. Specifically, to provide, via individual assignments defined and contracted through Specific Contracts, short-term expertise which can be mobilized at very short notice. The quality of the services which can be performed by internal or external expertise, must be guaranteed by the Framework Contractor disposing of the appropriate internal technical skills and resources. The expertise may be required at any stage of the project cycle (except financial audits) and may cover any sector(s) within the Lot.
ACTIVITIES:
Since 2014, the EPLO participates in a Multiple Framework Contract to provide short term experts on the promotion of human rights, democratization, rule of law, administration of justice and public administration reform for the exclusive benefit of third countries benefitting from EC external aid.
The contract focuses on the sectors under the Lot 7 are the promotion and protection of human rights, the support to democratization, the reinforcement of the rule of law and administration of justice, the public administration and civil service reform, the decentralization and local development, the enhancement of the role of civil society, the fight against organized crime (including drugs) and terrorism.
