PROJECT TITLE: ECO-THESAURUS
COUNTRIES: Greece
OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To achieve the objectives of the European Commission of disseminating information and raising awareness on Community Environmental law, including all latest amendments and new legal instruments and policy.
ACTIVITIES:
The project involved the creation of a database in Greek language providing all relevant information concerning environmental legislation, which was constantly updated in order to embrace new developments in this sector. The database was addressed to authorities at centralized and decentralized level, and it was accessible all over Greece.
Moreover, the project provided specialized legal experts in order to support public authorities in the process of transposition of the acquis communitaire into the national legislation.
