On Thursday 30th November 2023, the scientific conference under the title "Awareness-raising actions for the population on the problem of water scarcity and strategies to address it with emphasis on the wastewater reuse", which was organized by the Institute of Sustainable Water Management and Water Law of the European Public Law Organization - EPLO, was successfully completed.
The event took place at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the context of the implementation of the Water Rethink project funded by the Natural Environment and Innovative Actions programme by the Green Fund of the Ministry of Environment and Energy. The above-mentioned conference is the first of a series of planned actions that aim to highlight and analyze the impact of water scarcity and to raise public awareness on this issue.
The conference was attended by eminent scientists and officers and more than 100 participants had the opportunity to attend very interesting presentations and to learn about strategies to tackle water scarcity.
