An EPLC delegation comprised of Ms. Vera Theofilaktou, Head of Education and Research Unit of the EPLC, and Ms. Elisavet Grigoriadou, external collaborator of the EPLC, visited Havana, Cuba, on 13-24 April 2009 within the framework of the project HABANA ECOPOLIS and more particularly of the project’s action ACCIONES PARA EL FOMENTO DE LA INSERCIÓN Y COHESIÓN SOCIAL.
Specifically Ms. Grigoriadou delivered seminars on issues of gender equality, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and self protection, organized in the neighborhoods of Guanabacoa and Marianao of Havana and attended mainly by women and young people.
