Marc Jaeger's Lecture on "The Intensity of the Court's Control in Competition Cases that Raise Issues of Complex Financial Assessment"

Dr. Marc Jaeger, President of the General Court of the European Union, gave a lecture on the topic "The Intensity of the Court's Control in Competition Cases that Raise Issues of Complex Financial Assessment" on 21 October 2011 at the EPLO headquarters in Athens, as the main speaker of the 9th Manuel Chrysoloras International Lecture.

At the same event, Dr. Irena Pelikánova, President of the 4th Chamber of the General Court of the European Union, spoke about "Public and Private Law in the law of the European Union", and Dr. Savvas Papasavvas, President of the 5th Chamber of the General Court of the European Union, discussed the topic "Access to the File and Transparency in Competition Law".

The EPLO launched the International Lecture Series in 1999, naming it after Manuel Chrysoloras (c. 1350-1415), the Greek scholar credited with spreading Greek literature in the West during the Middle Ages and today viewed as the symbol of the Hellenic contribution to the revival of European Culture.
