On 3-6 February 2007 Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, Director of the EPLO, visited Tehran within the framework of the Project “ARISTOTELIS - Creation of a EPLO Branch in Iran”.
During his visit, Professor Spyridon Flogaitis had a series of meetings with representatives of the Public Administration Court, and the State Organization for Deeds and Property Registration.
On 4 February 2007, Professor Spyridon Flogaitis inaugurated the Branch of the EPLO in Tehran. Among the distinguished guests who attended the inauguration ceremony were H.E. the Ambassador of Greece in Iran, Mr. Merkourios Karafotias, and Professor Amir Arjomand, Professor of Law at the Shahid Beheshti University, Director of the UNESCO Chair and Center for Human Rights, Peace and Democracy and the Local Partner of the EPLO in Iran.
