The EPLC, together with RaFH and CESDER, its local partners, organized the final meeting of the project “VESTA: Education towards the Strengthening of Vulnerable Groups in Vietnam” on 12 August in Hanoi, with the participation of representatives from the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam and the local NGOs that had received training in the framework of the project’s activities. During the meeting the partners presented the project’s implemented activities and results, as well as evaluated the effectiveness of the training course in enhancing the management skills of the NGO employees engaged in promoting women and children’s rights and combating human trafficking. The meeting ended with a discussion on the remaining challenges to be addressed in the fight against human trafficking in Vietnam.
