EPLO Ukraine Office Head Meets with Ambassador of Cyprus to Discuss Cooperation

The Head of the EPLO Office in Ukraine, Prof. Yurii Voloshyn, held a working meeting with H.E. Michalis Firillas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest. Particular emphasis was placed on supporting Ukraine's European integration process, promoting the rule of law and institutional reforms, as well as advancing legal education and professional training for lawyers.

The discussion also covered initiatives aimed at supporting veterans and post-traumatic rehabilitation, promoting sustainable development and the circular economy, and organizing joint cultural and educational activities.

Cyprus, as one of the founding members of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), has played a significant role in establishing the Organization's legal foundations, principles, and values. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of the parties to fostering cooperation in support of democratic governance, education, and sustainable development in Ukraine.
