The EPLO, in cooperation with the Brcko district of Bosnia Herzegovina, organized a study visit of Bosnian delegates in Greece on 18 - 22 September 2006, within the framework of the Project “BRCKO V- RIGAS FERAIOS: Creation and operation of the Brcko National School of Public Administration”. The Bosnian delegation consisted of lawyers (Mr. Milenko Zecevic, Ms. Tanja Jovic, Mr. Ismet Siljic, Mr. Amer Ramic and Ms. Jadranka Subotic) and representatives of the Brcko District (Mr. Milan Ljubojevic, Head of Education Department, Mr. Esef Jusufovic, Head of Sub-Division for Staff and Salaries and Ms. Velida Mr. kaljevic, Budget Department), accompanied by the Local Coordinator of the EPLO in Brcko, Ms.Tatjana Jankovic.
The Bosnian delegation had meetings with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, Mr. Vassilios Andronopoulos, the Inspectors-Controllers body for the Public Administration at the aforementioned Ministry, and representatives of the Office of the Greek Ombudsman. The delegates also visited the National Center for Public Administration, where they had the opportunity to discuss with Prof. Themis Panagiotopoulos, Director of the National School of Public Administration, Prof. Panagiotis Kaldis, Director of National School of Local Government, and Dr. Ioannis Smirlis, Director the of Institute of Training. Finally, the Bosnian delegation had meetings at the Embassy of Bosnia Herzegovina in Athens, as well as at the Mayor’s Office.
