3rd Seminar in the Framework of the DIOKLITIANOS Project

The EPLO organized the third seminar within the framework of the Project "DIOKLITIANOS - Implementation of EU practices in the field of taxation in the Brcko District”. The title of this three-day seminar was “Direct and Indirect Taxation on income and consumption in Greece - The tax legislation and its implementation” and it took place at the premises of the Tax Administration Office in Brcko.

The speakers in this event included Mr. Dimitrios Kouvaris, Head of Enforcement Equipment Unit - Special Financial Investigations Service of the Hellenic Ministry of Economy and Finance (YPEE), Mr. Konstantinos Lymperis, Director of the Transregional Control Centre of Athens (DEK), and Ms. Eygenia Kokolia, tax officer in the local tax bureau of the Psichiko district in Athens and auditor in the 5th Special Audit Unit, dealing with tax evasion of enterprises and control of movement of goods and services.

The audience consisted mainly of Tax Administration employees, representatives of the Brcko Government and specifically from the Department for Economic Development, the Directorate for Finances and the Legal Team, 15 participants in total.

Ms. Tatjana Jankovic, Local Coordinator of the EPLO in Brcko, and Ms. Irene Mikelis, Associate Researcher / Project Manager of the EPLO represented the EPLO in the aforementioned seminar.
