2nd Seminar in the Framework of the YPSILANTIS II Project

The EPLO, in collaboration with the State University of Moldova, organized the second seminar on “Focusing on the rights and needs of trafficked victims: the international standards and the Moldovan legislation”, within the framework of the Project “YPSILANTIS II - Support of the Necessary Legal Reforms towards the Support of Human Dignity and the Fight against Human Trafficking, especially of Women and Children, in Moldova”.

The speakers in this event included representatives from the Erasmus University of Netherlands, and the Greek Ombudsman.

The audience consisted mainly of students and academics, jurists, as well as NGO representatives dealing with human trafficking issues.

The following issues were discussed during the seminar:

• EU Measures to Protect Victims and 
• The Psychological and the Physiological impact of Human Trafficking on its victims

Mr. E. Kalamaras, EPLO / EPLO Associate Researcher/ Project Manager, represented the EPLO in the aforementioned seminar.
