The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is seeking an Administrative Officer for the Executive Office of the Director.

Position Title: Administrative Officer

Duty Station: Athens, Greece

Type of Appointment: Fixed-term renewable contract

Core Tasks:

Under the supervision of the EPLO Director General for Management, the Administrative Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:

•    Provide administrative support to the EPLO Director.
•    Support the EPLO Director in his communication.
•    Manage the EPLO Director’s calendar and organize his contacts and his travels.
•    Manage the EPLO Director’s personal correspondence.
•    Organize and maintain all relative to the tasks documents and EPLO briefing material.
•    Plan and organize the Director’s official meetings and draft the relevant agendas.
•    Draft the minutes of official meetings, events and other relevant projects.
•    Support the Director General for Management in the administrative management and coordination of the relevant tasks.
•    Perform various administrative tasks of the Executive Office of the Director.

Required Qualifications and Experience

•    A University degree from an accredited academic institution in any field, preferably in Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, International Relations or a related field, or a Master’s degree in one of the above fields.
•    5 years of relevant professional experience.
•    Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
•    Computer proficiency in standard software applications (MS Office, etc.)
•    Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
•    Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
•    Preferable native language, one of the following: French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Czech, Romanian, Moldovan, Hungarian, Slovak, or Polish.
•    Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment will be appreciated.
•    Knowledge of the Greek language will be appreciated.

The Administrative Officer shall be a staff member of the EPLO (www.eplo.int) and therefore an international civil servant.
