Core Tasks

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is seeking a Human Resources Officer

Core tasks:

Under the supervision of EPLO’s Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) Director, the Human Resources Officer will be responsible for: 


•    the Human Resources planning , the recruiting process and the onboarding
•    the alignment of the staff with EPLO’s mission and organizational culture
•    the compliance of the staff with  EPLO’s regulations, policies, directives and   procedures
•    addressing the staff development needs and implementing training programs and initiatives 
•    the administration of staff benefits
•    the efficient interorganizational communication of Human Resources  related matters
•    maintaining and updating the Human Resources records and databases.
•    monitoring staff attendance and  leaves
•    the implementation of the EPLO’s staff performance system
•    assisting in the organizational development of EPLO
•    performing any relevant to the Human Resources Management task
•    assisting in  the efficient cooperation of the EPLO Departments and Offices

Required Qualifications and Experience:

A university degree from an accredited academic institution in any field, preferably in Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Management ,Public Administration, International Relations or from a related field.
•    A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or an MBA will be considered an asset.
•    At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
•    Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
•    Computer proficiency in standard software applications (MS Office, etc.)
•    Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
•    Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
•    Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment will be appreciated.

The Human Resources Officer will be an EPLO staff member and therefore an international civil servant.
