Core Tasks
Under the supervision of EPLO’s Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) Director, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assisting in the daily operations of the OHRM.
- Assisting in the Human Resources planning , recruiting process and onboarding.
- Assisting in the alignment of the staff with EPLO’s mission and organizational culture.
- Assisting in the compliance of the staff with EPLO’s regulations policies, directives and procedures.
- Assisting in addressing the staff development needs and in implementing training programs and initiatives.
- Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of staff benefits.
- Assisting in the efficient communication of Human Resources - related matters.
- Maintaining and updating the Human Resources database.
- Monitoring staff attendance and leaves.
- Assisting in the implementation of the EPLO staff performance system.
- Performing any relevant to the Human Resources Management task.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A university degree from an accredited academic institution in any field, preferably in Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, International Relations or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or an MBA will be considered an asset.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
- Computer proficiency in standard software applications (MS Office, etc.)
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment will be appreciated.
The Human Resources Assistant will be an EPLO staff member and therefore an international civil servant.
