Rome, 25 June 2026 – Policymakers, academics, and sustainability experts gathered at the EPLO Office in Rome for the event “Integral Ecology and Multilateralism: Reflections on the Future of Global Governance.” The discussion focused on the role of Integral Ecology in strengthening multilateral cooperation and promoting more coherent responses to interconnected global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, public health, and social inequalities.

The event opened with remarks by Matteo Gnes, Director of IGHER (EPLO) and Professor at the University of Urbino, and Domenico Vito, co-chair of the International One Health Conference and founder of Osservatorio Parigi. The keynote address was delivered by Talieh Woegerbauer, National Focal Point for Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) and Senior Policy Advisor at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management.
