Erasmus+ BRIDGE 3rd Transnational Meeting held in Krakow

On the 26th and 27th of October, the partners of the Erasmus + BRIDGE project met in Krakow for the 3rd Transnational Meeting of the project, enjoying the warm hospitality of the Jagiellonian University, one of the project partners. The meeting was planned in a critical milestone of the project progress as it marked the completion of the first year of implementation within a total lifecycle of 36 months.

During the meeting, the partners engaged into productive working sessions to review the outputs of IO2 and establish the methodology of IO3, clarifying topics of concern and addressing different perspectives towards a common outcome. Within an environment of respectful collaboration and genuine commitment, the partners were able to come to conclusions and design their work ahead for the next year.

Among the imminent steps, the partners will now launch the pilot implementation of the Digital Museum, an online repository of Good Practices of intercultural education promoted through previous projects and initiatives and now collected by the BRIDGE partners to guide, inspire and offer in practical ideas for the integration of the intercultural education into the HEIs curricula across the EU. Simultaneously, the partners will start developing the training material for a joint course addressed to both professors and students of relevant Higher Education Institutes departments.

Coordinated by the Universidad Pablo de Olavide from Spain, the BRIDGE project comprises a consortium of organizations from Italy - University of Siena and Pixel, Poland - Uniwersytet Jagiellonski, Germany - University of Bayreuth, Portugal - Instituto Politecnico de Bragança and Greece – European Public Law Organization. The project, which has now completed the first year of implementation, seeks to enhance intercultural education in Higher Education Institutes across the EU by establishing a practice-oriented and innovative, socially and technologically, approach in response to the challenges of the 2030 Agenda from the perspective of education for development and education for global citizenship. The project is co-funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Partnerships for Cooperation in Higher Education.
