Athens, Greece, 27 October 2026 — At the request of the Embassy of Vietnam in Athens, the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) welcomed a delegation from Hanoi Law University, led by its Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Van Hoa, at the EPLO premises in Plaka, Athens.
The meeting opened with a presentation of the EPLO, its mission, and its international activities, with special focus on its education pillar and the European Law and Governance University (ELGU), the university of the EPLO. Headquartered in Rome with campuses in Athens and Cascais, ELGU offers degrees in European law, governance, and public policy within an international academic community.
The two institutions then discussed concrete prospects for collaboration. These include joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges and guest lecturing opportunities, student mobility schemes and study tours, as well as postgraduate study opportunities at ELGU for Vietnamese scholars and students.
The EPLO thanks the Embassy of Vietnam in Athens for facilitating this visit and looks forward to continuing the dialogue with Hanoi Law University, building a lasting academic partnership between Europe and Vietnam in the fields of law and governance.
