PROJECT TITLE: ARARAT - Support to Free and Fair Elections in Armenia

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To contribute to the implementation of free, transparent, fair and democratic legitimate elections in the Republic of Armenia.
ACTIVITIES:
The European Public Law Center fulfilled the need for further education of the Armenian jurists on electoral processes issues by which their scientific training will increase and their professional activity was reinforced.
The main activities of the project included the training of jurists, and the familiarization of the target audience with electoral procedures such as supervisory committees, the maintenance of electoral lists and the wider comprehension of voting procedures.
Two series of seminars, led by Greek experts representing academic institutions, the judiciary and the Office of the Ombudsman were organized in Yerevan, Armenia.
