The EPLO Director, Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, launched The Pan-European Bratislava
Meetings on November 30, 2011 in Slovakia with the first lecture of the series. The topic of the lecture was “Failure to Reform (?) Lessons from Greece”. The lecture was followed by a discussion between the Professor and students. The Pan- European Bratislava Meetings were established in October 2011 as a lecture series conducted on an annual basis at the premises of the Pan-European University, coorganized by the University and the EPLO, and addressed to the academic communities, High Court judges, politicians and lawyers in Bratislava. The Pan-European University became a member of the EPLO Board of Directors in 2011.
