During this visit, several meetings with the local authorities and the state officials were organized at the premises of OHR Brcko on the topic “Vocational Training for Public Employees”.
The audience consisted mainly of representatives of the Mayor’s Cabinet, Department for Education, Department for Expert and Administrative Issues, Human Resources Department, Legal Team, Administrative Inspectorate, Revenue Agency and Public Attorney’s Office, 12 in total.
The following issues were discussed during the mission: extensive overview of the Greek National School for Public Administration, importance and impact that such a School has on the local and national administration in Greece, admittance, entry tests, and panels deciding on accepting students to the National School for Public Administration and status of public employees during their time spent in School. Greek experts also spoke about training programmes, as similar programmes are to be established at the Brcko National School for Public Administration.
The meetings led to very fruitful conclusions regarding the actual implementation of the project principles.
