Armenian Delegation Study Visit to Greece

The EPLO in cooperation with the Center of Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia, organized a study visit of Armenian delegates to Greece on 13 - 17 September 2006, within the framework of the Project “XENOFON - Training of Jurists on the Rule of Law and Support of the Necessary Legal Reforms in Armenia”. The Armenian delegation consisted of Mr. Gevorg Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Dr. Karen Andreasyan, Adviser to the Constitutional Court and Local Coordinator of the XENOFON Project, Ms. Lilit Danielyan, Head of the International Relations Department of the Constitutional Court and Local Coordinator of XENOFON Project, Dr. Vladimir Margaryan, Head of the Department of International Treaties of the Constitutional Court and, finally, Prof. Karen Gevorgyan, Deputy Dean of Law Department of Yerevan State University.

The Armenian delegation participated in the international conference organized on 15 - 17 September 2006 by the European Public Law Center on “Citizenship in the European Union”, and had meetings with the Secretary General of the Greek Ministry of Justice, Mr. Panagiotis Panouris, with the President of the Hellenic Council of the State, Mr. Georgios Panagiotopoulos, with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, Mr. Vassilios Andronopoulos, as well as with the Inspectors - Controllers body for the Public Administration at the aforementioned Ministry, and finally, with representatives of the Office of the Greek Ombudsman.
