The EPLO, in collaboration with the Center of Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia, organized the third round of seminars on “Legal guarantees against trafficking” at the premises of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of the Project “XENOPHON - Training of Jurists on the Rule of Law and Support of the Necessary Legal Reforms”.
The speakers in this event included representatives from the Office of the Greek Ombudsman, the Vienna University, the Armenian General Prosecutor and the Yerevan State University.
The audience consisted mainly of representatives from the Human Right NGOs, international organizations including OSCE, INDP, USAID, and ABA/CEELI, the Council of Europe, officials from the Government of Armenia and different ministries, Deputies of National Assembly, Deputy General Prosecutors, legal scholars from the Yerevan State University, the Ombudsman and other representatives of Ombudsman office, and finally, representatives of the Association of Judges and staff members of the Constitutional Court. The event was covered by the media reports of TV stations, news agencies and newspapers.
