OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The project aims to assist the inspections and regulatory practices in Lithuania’s Environmental, Food, and Veterinary Safety sectors. It supports the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and the State Food and Veterinary Services (SFVS) in strengthening their inspection frameworks, including planning, checklists, IT system upgrades, and institutional organization. Moreover, it aims to boost regulatory effectiveness, promote the green transition, drive digital transformation, and enhance SME competitiveness in Lithuania. By improving compliance, it fosters sustainability, integrates IT for better public service access, and reduces administrative burdens on SMEs through more precise inspections.
