The European Public Law Organization (EPLO), through its Institute for Transparency and Fundamental Rights, in collaboration with the Athens Court of Appeal, is pleased to announce a conference entitled: “The Impact of the European Convention on Human Rights on Selected Areas of Greek Law” which will take place in Greek.

The conference will open with welcome remarks by senior members of the judiciary and the EPLO, followed by two thematic sessions examining the position and influence of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) within the Greek and EU legal orders. Distinguished professors, judges, and legal scholars will analyse key rights protected under the Convention — including property rights, fair trial guarantees, personal liberty, and private life — and their application across civil, criminal, administrative, and constitutional law.
