The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) invites young people from its international network to take part alongside the EPLO Permanent Delegation to the United Nations in New York during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week and throughout EPLO's activities at the UN, including the side event titled “Cultural Heritage at Stake: Addressing Looting, Illicit Trafficking and Restitution through International Law, Operational Cooperation and Cultural Diplomacy” (23 September 2026).
Accepted participants will accompany the Delegation as guests and observers — attending the side event and related meetings, following EPLO's engagement at the United Nations first-hand, and connecting with an international community of institutions and professionals.
When
Participation is possible from High-Level Week (22–28 September 2026) through to December 2026. Expressions of interest are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Who can take part
Young researchers, students and early-career professionals who are able to cover their own participation in full.

• EPLO assumes no legal responsibility whatsoever in connection with this call or with any participant's travel to, presence in, or stay in the United States.
• EPLO does not provide, sponsor, or assist with visas or any immigration status. Each participant is solely responsible for holding valid documentation (for example, a valid visa or ESTA/tourist status) allowing them to enter and remain in the United States.
• This call is open only to those who can cover their own expenses in full — including travel, accommodation, insurance, and all other costs.
• Participation is undertaken entirely under the responsibility of the accepted participants. Accepted participants take part solely as attendees and observers accompanying the Delegation; participation does not constitute employment, engagement, or the provision of any services to EPLO, whether paid or unpaid.
