EPLO Participates in the 8th International AgriBusiness Forum in Athens

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) participated in the 8th International AgriBusiness Forum (ABF), held in Athens on 18–19 March 2026, under the overarching theme "The Agrifood Sector in the New Geopolitical Environment."

EPLO is a Steering Partner of the Forum, contributing to a high‑level dialogue on the intersection of geopolitics, technology, and the future of the agrifood sector.

The Forum brought together leading policymakers, diplomats, academics, and industry experts to examine how global tensions, technological transformation, and shifting trade dynamics are reshaping food systems. The two‑day program included thematic chapters on regional geopolitics, global food security, and the digital transformation of the agrifood value chain.

A High-Level Forum on Geopolitics and Food Security

The 2026 edition of the AgriBusiness Forum examined the agrifood sector through a geopolitical lens, with sessions including:

Chapter 1: Geopolitics in the Balkans, Black Sea & Eastern Mediterranean

Chapter 2: Global geopolitics and their impact on food security
