“Europe in an Existential Challenge: Time to React” — Joint Event by SEYDO & AEFICE
On 25 June 2026, the EPLO Brussels Office took part in the high‑level event “Europe in an Existential Challenge: Time to React”, jointly organized by SEYDO (Association of Greek Employees of International Organizations) and AEFICE (Association of Spaniards in European Institutions).
Ambassador (ret.) Dionyssios Kalamvrezos, Director of the EPLO Brussels Office, participated as a keynote speaker alongside Dr. Alesia Slizhava, geopolitical analyst.
A Shared Call for European Readiness
The event underscored that Europe is facing an existential moment, requiring coordinated action, strategic clarity, and renewed commitment to the European project.
Participants emphasized the need for EU institutions and Member States to strengthen their capacity to respond effectively to geopolitical, economic, demographic, and technological pressures.
