PROJECT TITLE: Legal Counseling to the Prefecture of Attica II

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To provide support to the Prefecture during the drafting of calls for the implementation of public works, during the course of the actual bid, at the drafting and signing of the contracts for the implementation of the public works, as well as during the actual implementation of the contracts.
Specifically, the projects aims to legally support the Attica Prefecture:
- Reviewing the public procurement documents, before the beginning, during and after the completion of the bid process;
- Submitting legal reports/opinions on contracts/agreements;
- Appearing before any service where the Attica Prefecture is obliged to give explanations;
- Participating in meetings held in the premises of the Attica Prefecture;
- Collaborating with the personnel of the Service in order to solve any legal request of the Service;
- Being physically present as a member of the working team of the EPLO in the premises of Attica Prefecture for at least eight (8) hours every week.
ACTIVITIES:
Within 2012-2014, the EPLO served as the legal expert to the Prefecture of Attica on public procurement. Specifically, the EPLO provided its support to the Prefecture during the drafting of calls for the implementation of public works, during the course of the actual bid, at the drafting and signing of the contracts for the implementation of the public works, as well as during the actual implementation of the contracts.
