PROJECT TITLE: Development and Strengthening of the Administrative Capacity to Take Over the Acquis Communautaire in the Field of Animal Nutrition

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To develop and strengthen the Romanian administrative capacity within the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry at central and regional level in view of taking over and implementing the European Acquis in animal nutrition, in animal health, more specifically Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSE) and in border inspection procedures.
ACTIVITIES:
The project activities were grouped in four components, namely: animal nutrition regulations and procedures, TSE monitoring and surveillance system, bio-safety laboratory, border inspection procedures. They included the organization of seminars and training, and legal and technical assistance.
