A EPLO delegation comprised of Ms. P. Protopsaltis, Deputy Director of the EPLO, and Mr. V. Anastasopoulos, Associate Researcher/Project Manager of the EPLO, visited Tbilisi on 17 - 19 July 2007 and attended the first coordination meeting within the framework of the Project: “KOMNINOI - Modernization of Georgia’s legislation and training of civil servants and judges”.
During this visit several meetings with the local authorities and the state officials were organized. Specifically, the Greek delegation was received by Dr. K. Shengelia, President of the Caucasus University, Member of the Georgian Parliament, and Vice Chancellor for Education, Science, Culture and Sport Committee, Professor Z. Maruashvili, Head of the Law Faculty, Mr. Papayashvili, President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, His Excellency, the Minister of Justice Mr. G. Kavtaradze, Ms. I. Dakhundaridze, Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resource Management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. T. Kekelidze, Head of Policy Planning Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, employees of the Civil Service Bureau, as well as His Excellency E. Anghelopoulos, Ambassador of Greece.
